Technology & Benefits

Hear the Difference, Win the Match

Every move counts and every sound makes a difference. The powerful dynamic 40mm driver delivers crystal-clear audio with precise spatial accuracy that keeps you in full control of your game. Footsteps, spells, or team calls — you hear what others miss.

Sound That Keeps Up With You

Your reactions are fast and your sound should be too. Bluetooth 6.0 with advanced low-latency transmission delivers every cue in real time, with no delay — critical for precise gameplay and split-second decisions.

Noise Off, Focus On

Active Noise Cancelling filters out distractions and background noise, letting you focus entirely on your game. Pure focus even in noisy environments — at home, in a shared space, or at a tournament.

Your Voice in Focus

Two MEMS microphones with ENC environmental noise cancelling deliver clear voice transmission even in the heat of the game. Keyboard and mouse-click noise is intelligently filtered out so your team hears only you. The flip-to-mute function mutes the microphone automatically the moment you lift its boom up — no hunting for a button. Sidetone technology lets you hear your own voice in the headset and control how loudly you speak.

Up to 60 Hours with a Replaceable Battery

A lightweight design, soft velour ear pads, and up to 60 hours of battery life ensure comfort without interruption. If the battery starts to lose capacity after hundreds of sessions, you can replace it yourself — no need for a new headset. Charging during use means a long session won't catch you out.

The Dongle Always with You

The USB-C dongle stores conveniently inside the ear cup, so it's always safely stowed and won't get lost in transit. Plug it into a PC or any other USB device and you're ready to game in seconds.

Personalization Through the beyerdynamic App

The app offers numerous EQ presets created specifically for different game genres, plus individual sound adjustment. Software updates are delivered through it as well — for maximum performance, we recommend updating the headset on first use.

Who Is It For?

The beyerdynamic MMX 230 Wireless is designed for competitive gamers for whom accurate positional audio and low latency are decisive. Active noise cancelling also makes it suitable for gaming in noisy environments, while the replaceable battery serves those who use the headset daily for years.

Expert Tip from vsystem.bg

On first use, update the headset through the beyerdynamic app — the manufacturer recommends this for maximum performance. The flip-to-mute function is faster and more reliable than a mute button: you lift the microphone and get tactile confirmation without hunting for a switch. Important for Xbox owners: the MMX 230 Wireless does not support that console — for Xbox, see the MMX 100 Wireless or MMX 150 Wireless, which work with it via cable.

FAQ

Does it work with Xbox?
No, the MMX 230 wireless supports PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and smartphones. For Xbox, see the MMX 100 Wireless or MMX 150 Wireless, which connect to the console via cable.

Can the microphone be detached?
No, the microphone is integrated, but it mutes instantly when lifted up (flip-to-mute) and stays unobtrusive in that position.

Can the battery really be replaced?
Yes, the battery is designed to be user-replaceable — a significant advantage under heavy gaming use, when capacity declines after years.

Where is the dongle stored?
Inside the headset's ear cup — so it's always with you and won't get lost in transit.

What is the difference between the dongle and Bluetooth?
The dongle provides lower latency, which is critical for gaming. Bluetooth 6.0 has a greater range (20 vs. 8 metres) and suits music and mobile use better.
