Technology & Benefits
Studio-Inspired Sound, Tuned for Gaming
In the heat of battle, split seconds often make all the difference. The MMX 100 wireless combines the strengths of a closed-back design with precisely tuned sound — the result is accurate positional audio, natural voice reproduction, and complete focus on the game, backed by decades of beyerdynamic studio expertise.
Velour Ear Pads for Long Sessions
Velour ear pads have been a beyerdynamic trademark for decades. The soft velour surface with memory foam provides exceptional comfort and a barely-there feel even after hours of play — unlike leatherette, velour breathes and doesn't trap heat.
More Than 80 Hours with Charging During Use
At just 275 grams and with more than 80 hours of battery life, there's only one question left — who gives up first, you or your headset. In a pinch, 15 minutes of charging delivers up to 20 hours of playtime, and charging during use means a long session won't catch you out with an empty battery.
One Headset, Many Setups
Gaming doesn't just happen at your desk. With Bluetooth 6.0, a low-latency USB-C dongle, and an analogue cable, the MMX 100 wireless works with your PC, console, smartphone, or handheld. From the match straight to your playlist — without changing headsets.
META VOICE Microphone, When You Need It
The condenser META VOICE microphone with a cardioid pattern picks up your voice from the front and rejects side noise — teammates hear you clearly. An included pop filter reduces plosives on hard consonants. When you're listening to music or using the headset out and about, the microphone simply detaches and they become ordinary headphones with no visible gaming look.
Personalization Through the beyerdynamic App
The app offers EQ presets created specifically for different game genres, plus manual sound adjustment to your taste. Software updates are delivered through it as well.
Built for More Than Just the Next Session
Gaming headsets face heavy daily use, which is why the MMX 100 wireless is built for lasting quality — a replaceable battery, interchangeable ear pads and headband pad, durable metal hinges, and a design that performs reliably session after session. Instead of replacing the headset after a few years, you replace just the worn part.
Who Is It For?
The beyerdynamic MMX 100 wireless is designed for gamers who want accurate sound without unnecessary effects and lighting, but also a headset they'll use outside of gaming. Flexible connectivity and the detachable microphone make it practical for work, travel, and everyday music listening.

Expert Tip from vsystem.bg
For gaming, use the USB dongle rather than Bluetooth — low latency is critical for positional audio in fast-paced games. Note that the microphone operates at full frequency range (up to 24 kHz) only over the analogue connection; via dongle and Bluetooth it's limited to 8 kHz, which is perfectly adequate for voice chat but the analogue connection gives better results for streaming or recording. Important for Xbox owners: the console is supported via cable only, not wirelessly.
FAQ
Does it work with Xbox?
Yes, but via cable connection only. Bluetooth wireless supports PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and smartphones.
What is the difference between the USB dongle and Bluetooth?

Can it charge while gaming?
Yes, the headset supports charging during use — connect the USB-C cable and keep playing.
Can the microphone be detached?
Yes, the META VOICE microphone detaches easily — convenient when using the headset for music outside the home.
Can the battery really be replaced?
Yes, the battery, ear pads, and headband pad are designed to be replaceable — a feature that significantly extends the headset's lifespan under heavy gaming use.
