Helium520C is the center speaker in Amphion's Helium series – designed to integrate perfectly with the other models in the series, such as the Helium410, Helium510 and Helium520. It carries the same sonic DNA: balanced and natural sound, excellent vocal reproduction and a wide soundstage that fills the room with life.

Suitable for both surround configurations and integration into compact stereo systems, the Helium520C delivers exceptional clarity in the reproduction of dialogue and human voices, adding a presence that is often missing from standard center channels. With a natural tonality and no unnecessary coloration, this speaker will become the heart of your home system.

Waveguide technology and precise integration

Like other Amphion speakers, the Helium520C uses the 5th generation U/D/D waveguide (Uniformly Directive Diffusion) - a unique technology that provides controlled sound directionality and allows precise integration between the high-frequency and mid-frequency drivers. By lowering the crossover frequency, the two speakers operate as a single point source, resulting in more accurate phase coherence and exceptional localization.

This architecture also helps to improved temporal coherence - the voice coils of both speakers are aligned, which contributes to better control over transitions and detail, especially important for speech reproduction.

High efficiency and captivating sound even at low volume

The speaker performs excellently even in rooms with difficult acoustics or when listening quietly. This makes it a perfect choice for apartments, common spaces or late-night viewing. Even at low volume levels, details, timbres and intonations remain clear and full of life, thanks to the acoustically optimized construction and easy-to-control sensitivity. Designed to be easy to position, it can be placed on a shelf, under a TV or in an AV cabinet – without the need for complex setup or adjustments.

Minimalism in electronics, maximum transparency in sound

One of Amphion’s philosophies is that good acoustics allow for simplified electronics. Thanks to acoustic engineering, the signal path in the Helium520C is extremely short and clear – resulting in less distortion, higher resolution and transparency. This makes it great for a wide range of amplifiers, including lower and mid-range models, as well as modern streaming solutions.
