Macumba is the debut album by Mistysa – singer, songwriter, composer, and producer, running her own label Misty Productions. Her musical journey began at the Beethoven Conservatory in São Paulo, Brazil, followed by a major in composition and arrangement at ProJazz Music School in Santiago, Chile. This multicultural background shines through every track on the album.
Multicultural Sound and Rhythms
Macumba blends R&B, Soul, Jazz, Brazilian sonorities, and Cuban rhythms, performed in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. The result is a unique musical project with remarkable sound and character.
