Build Quality and Design

The M6si500 boasts a high-quality metal construction, offering both distinctive style and a solid performance platform. The front panel is a bespoke, fine-line extrusion of military-grade aluminum, while the custom-made heatsinks provide outstanding dissipation and a fine finish.

Engineered as a genuine dual-mono design, each power amp section has its own heat sink and separate transformer, while the preamp has its own power-supply winding. The five input sockets are directly connected to the main preamp circuit board, ensuring an ultra-short signal path and ultra-low impedance from the source to the amplifier.

Each channel features 12 large bipolar transistors, providing 200 amps peak-to-peak performance. A precision digital volume control, utilizing laser-trimmed substrate resistors, ensures perfect tracking even at very low listening levels.

Technical Performance

The M6si500 delivers stellar technical performance, with remarkably low distortion levels (around 0.008% at 1kHz, 0.015% at 20kHz, and only slightly rising to 0.02% at ultra-high frequencies of 30-50kHz). The signal-to-noise ratio is also minimal, ensuring exceptional linearity and consistency.
